2XGG Pattern is the timeless classic door design that admits an abundance of natural light. 2XGG is an acronym for '2 x glass over glass', they are an ideal choice to help bring the outside closer to the inside. 2XGG hardwood doors feature traditional Ovolo glazing beads, and the two-lite design compliments all types of properties.

2XGG Hardwood Doors

This range of 2XGG doors are manufactured from premium quality Maranti hardwood with engineered timber components for performance and stability. The sturdy mortise & tenon construction provides additional strength, and are ideal for a solvent-based paint system finish in your choice of colour, or why not show off the natural grain appearance with the solvent-based Sikkens Cetol high-build wood stain. However you choose to finish your 2XGG hardwood doors, please ensure the doors are fully finished prior to installation and refer to our Door Handling & Finishing Guidelines.

Hardwood 2XGG Doors

Hardwood 2XGG doors are available unglazed with a fast delivery for those in a hurry, or pre-glazed in our factory in your choice of clear or obscure textured toughened safety glass, but please allow a minimum of 4–6 weeks for manufacture and delivery. Bespoke decorative glazing is also an option in the hardwood 2XGG door range, please contact us for details.

Function, kerb appeal, and your budget are all taken care of with the range of hardwood 2-light doors, in a range of sizes from 30 x 78 inches (762 x 1981mm) to 33 x 78 inches (838 x 1981mm) suitable for the majority of standard door frames. Hardwood 2-light doors provide plenty of natural light, and the double glazing prevents condensation and improved thermal performance when installed with our range of draught excluders.
