3" 1840 Pattern Loose Pin Steel Hinge Polished Brass

This 3 inch 1840 pattern hinge is a brass plated hinge that features a loose pin that allows the door to be removed with out having to remove the hinges.

This loose pin brass hinge is manufactured from pressed steel, the leaves are 1.5mm thick, 2.15/16" (75mm) long plus a 3mm pin head, and 1.15/16" (50mm) wide when fully open, the knuckle diameter is 8mm.

This 75mm hinge is suitable for lightweight doors up to around 25kg, ensure that the pin head is at the top of the hinge when fitted, pull out and reverse if necessary. Tight pins can be dislodged using a centre punch or nail set and hammer. This 3 inch loose pin hinge is supplied in single units and will require suitable screws.
