15" Inch Drop Down Monkey Tail Door Bolt

This monkey tail drop down bolt is ideal for utility doors, gates and garage doors. The long handle makes operation easier with less bending down. It is supplied with a durable black Japaned backplate and staple, and bright zinc plated bolt.

Monkey tail bolts are so called because the handle resembles a monkeys tail, and the button end helps to grip the handle. This garage door drop down bolt can be fitted to the bottom of the slave leaf of side hung garage doors, and can also be used with heavy duty utility doors and gates etc.

This heavy duty drop down bolt has an overall length of 15" inches (38cm) with a maximum projection of 50mm. The mounting plate is 10" inches high (254mm) by 2" inch (50mm) wide. The surface mounted keep is 50mm square. Please note sizes are approximate and may vary due to the hand made manufacturing process. Other sizes are available.
