24" Inch Heavy Duty Cranked Crook & Band Hinge Zinc Plated
This 24 inch lift off cranked strap hinge is a heavy duty pattern 1056 hinge ideal for garage doors, gates, outbuilding doors, and utility doors. The zinc plate finish will help prevent corrosion, and can be over-painted using and etching primer if required.
This cranked hook & band hinge is manufactured from 5mm thick by 47mm (1.7/8") wide strap with an overall length of 617mm, and approximately 24 inches to the centre of the locating socket. The hook features a 15.5mm (5/8") diameter gudgeon pin with a projection of 55mm, the back plate is 47mm x 165mm long.
The necked band when mounted on the gudgeon pin will have an overall length of 63cm and will be flush with the mounting position on the gate post or frame. If all the mounting pins are up the gate or door can be lifted off, installing with one pin down will prevent removal.
