2'6" x 6'6" FL&B Solid Oak Cottage Door

762mm x 1981mm FL&B Oak cottage door is a traditional cottage door manufactured with solid oak (not veneered) for a traditional authentic hand crafted look, the selected Oak timbers feature natural defects such as knots and mineral deposits provide a rustic character for an olde-worlde look perfect for period properties, cottages and barn conversions.

This 30 x 78 inch solid Oak cottage door features a framed ledged and braced (FL&B) design that allows for a wider scope of hardware to be fitted, and provides more structural strength. The bracing is supplied separately and will need to be cut to size and fitted so the braces are angled up and away from the hinges to support the weight of the door and maintain aesthetics.

We supply this door unfinished and would defiantly recommend a solvent based finish is applied, however due to the solid Oak construction some oils and hardwax finishes may also be suitable for this internal door, please contact us for advice in this instance, and always refer to our door handling & finishing guidelines.
