This premium UK quality traditional antique reproduction hand forged ring door knocker from the Forge collection in a superior pewter patina finish is hand crafted from malleable iron with a zinc phosphate treatment for additional rust and corrosion resistance, and are the perfect choice for cottage style and period properties.

This reproduction antique ring door knocker features a 100mm diameter round knocker with a 39mm projection from the door face. The mounting rose is 47mm diameter, the knocker strike plate is 45mm in diameter, both feature a integrated pin to prevent rotation for a more secure operation. The bolt through fixing centres are 85mm (+/-7mm), the two threaded fixing bolts & nuts are suitable for doors up to 54mm thick (may require cutting down for thinner doors or concealed fitting).

This pewter door knocker is quick and easy to install, and supplied complete with all fixtures and fittings.

PRO TIPS:
• For the best aesthetics counterbore the rear bolt fixings below the door surface and refill the hole.
• The anti rotation pins may require seating by drilling a pilot hole in order to get the roses flush to the door face.
• When fitting to timber doors, make sure any bare wood exposed by cutting or machining is properly sealed with high quality solvent based paint or wood-stain to prevent any moisture ingress that may lead to further issues.
