This premium UK quality Victorian style letter box cover plate from the Heritage collection in a lacquered brushed antique brass finish that provides an aged antique brass look, ideal for period properties and architecture. This letterplate is suitable for horizontal installation only, and features an integrated gravity operated door knocker with a sprung loaded letter flap.

10" x 3.1/8" Inch Lacquered Brushed Antique Brass Door Knocker Letter Plate

This exterior letter plate 254mm wide by 78mm high with a maximum projection 23mm from the door face, this letter tidy is suitable for apertures up to 280mm wide x 75mm high. The aperture is 186mm x 40mm ideal for most standard size letters. This letter plate cover will require a cut-out width between 190mm - 210mm wide, and 46-70mm high. The fixing centres are 218mm with M6 bolt through fixings and colour matched antique brass dome nuts suitable for door up to 60mm think.

• For the best aesthetics counterbore the rear bolt fixings below the door surface and refill the hole.
• Fit an 11" inch interior letter tidy to complete the look and add additional privacy.
• When fitting to timber doors, make sure any bare wood exposed by cutting or machining is properly sealed with high quality solvent based paint or wood-stain system to prevent any moisture ingress that may damage the door.
