This premium UK quality heavy solid brass Victorian style octagonal front door centre knob from the Heritage collection in a polished chrome finish is ideal for period properties and architecture. This surface mount centre door pull was popular throughout the Georgian and Victorian periods and is a perfect choice for traditional homes.

Chrome Octagonal Door Knob Pull

This centre door knob is manufactured from, solid brass, it features a 70mm point-to-point octagonal knob with a 4mm edge detail around the perimeter that enhances the aesthetics, the overall projection from the door face is 76mm. The octagonal mounting rose is 84mm point-to-point, and features an integrated pin to prevent rotation for a more secure operation. The bolt through fixing bolt with a chrome dome nut will provide a neat finish to the inside of the door and can be recessed if required, the bolt is suitable for doors up to 54mm thick (may require cutting down for thinner doors or concealed fitting).

• For the best aesthetics counterbore the rear bolt fixing below the door surface and refill the hole.
• The anti rotation pin may require seating by drilling a pilot hole in order to get the mounting rose flush to the door face.
• When fitting to timber doors, make sure any bare wood exposed by cutting or machining is properly sealed with high quality solvent based paint or wood-stain to prevent any moisture ingress that may damage the door.
