60mm Polished Brass British Standard Nightlatch Door Lock

The Era 1730-31 polished brass keyless Egress nightlatch conforms to BS 8621:2007 which mirrors the BS 3621:2017 but for escape locks, providing maximum security. The case length is 90mm by 86mm high, with a 60mm backset (distance from edge of door to keyhole centre), suitable for most standard timber doors.

This 60mm nightlatch features a keyless ergonomic lever that ensures it is possible to make an emergency escape in the event of a fire. The high security integral cylinder pull protects the cylinder from being drilled, or twisted open. The main bolt, is automatically deadlocked by a smaller bolt when the door is closed, preventing the main bolt being retracted by a credit card.

This British Standard night latch is a non-handed design, enabling both left and right-hand inward opening installation. A snib button enables the latch bolt to be withheld in the open position, allowing the door to be accessible without operating the handle. This night latch is supplied boxed with 3 keys, lock keep, lock cylinder, integrated cylinder security pull, screws and bolts.
