This exterior mortise & tenon unglazed Derby door measures 914mm wide x 2134mm high x 44 millimetres thick. This traditional 4-panel design features 2 raised and fielded solid lower panels. The top panels feature two generously proportioned glazing apertures. Decorative raised bolection mouldings adorn the perimeter of the panels to both sides of the door. The unglazed M&T Derby door is an imperial size door, measuring 36 inches wide, 84 inch high, by 1.3/4 inches thick, or 3'0" x 7'0", equivalent to 3 foot by 7 foot in size. Manufactured with engineered hardwood timber components for strength and stability, with a sturdy wedged mortise and tenon (M&T) construction for maximum strength and durability. Premium quality crown-cut Meranti veneers facilitate a superior, great looking finish. 21mm solid hardwood lippings allow around 12mm trimming per edge (more is possible at owner's risk).

This 2134 x 914mm Derby hardwood door is supplied unfinished, and unglazed ready for your own choice of single or 14mm thick double glazing. This door requires a premium solvent based finishing system prior to installation, such as the solvent based Dulux Weathershield paint system finish, or to showcase the beauty of the finest Meranti timbers, we recommend the solvent-based Sikkens Cetol high-build wood-stain, or Filter-7 for sunny locations. Ensure all surfaces are fully treated before hanging, paying particular attention to end-grain, and hardware cut-outs, finishing must be in accordance with BS 6150:2019 Code of Practice to ensure longevity and comply with the warranty.
