This exterior mortise & tenon clear glazed Derby door measures 864mm wide x 2083mm high x 44 millimetres thick. This traditional 4-panel design features 2 raised and fielded solid lower panels. The top panels feature two generously proportioned double-glazed units with clear toughened safety glass. Decorative raised bolection mouldings adorn the perimeter of the panels to both sides of the door. The clear glazed M&T Derby door is an imperial size door, measuring 34 inches wide, 82 inch high, by 1.3/4 inches thick, or 2'10" x 6'10", equivalent to 2 feet 10 inches by 6 feet 10 inches in size. Manufactured with engineered hardwood timber components for strength and stability, with a sturdy wedged mortise and tenon (M&T) construction for maximum strength and durability. Premium quality crown-cut Meranti veneers facilitate a superior, great looking finish. 21mm solid hardwood lippings allow around 12mm trimming per edge (more is possible at owner's risk).

This 2083 x 864mm Derby clear glass door is supplied unfinished, and requires a premium solvent based finishing system prior to installation, such as the solvent based Dulux Weathershield paint system finish, or to showcase the beauty of the finest Meranti timbers, we recommend the solvent-based Sikkens Cetol high-build wood-stain, or Filter-7 for sunny locations. Ensure all surfaces are fully treated before hanging, paying particular attention to end-grain, and hardware cut-outs, finishing must be in accordance with BS 6150:2019 Code of Practice to ensure longevity and comply with the warranty.
