This premium UK quality Victorian style letter box cover plate from the Heritage collection in a superior lacquered polished brass finish that ideal for traditional properties and architecture. This letterplate is suited to horizontal installations, and features a spring loaded letter flap.

Polished Brass Letter Box

Exterior letter box plate measures 410mm wide by 125mm high with a maximum projection of 9mm from the door face, the letter plate aperture is 324mm x 71mm ideal for large letters and small parcels. This letter plate cover will require a cut-out width between 335-355mm wide, and 80-115mm high. The fixing centres are 366mm with M6 bolt through fixings and colour matched brass rose caps to conceal the bolt heads on the inside of the door, suitable for doors up to 60mm thick.

• For the best aesthetics counterbore the rear bolt fixings below the door surface and refill the hole.
• When fitting to timber doors, make sure any bare wood exposed by cutting or machining is properly sealed with high quality solvent based paint or wood-stain system to prevent any moisture ingress that may damage the door.
